Anak: nay! nay! alam nyo po ba muntik na kong maging valedictorian!
nanay: talaga anak? bakit? sobrang taas ba ng grades mo?
anak: hindi po nay
nanay: o bakit muntik ka nang maging valedictorian??
anak: kasi po ung katabi ko ung tinawag na valedictorian e, muntik na ko!
-a joke about school and kids. A kid excitedly tells her mother that he almost became the valedictoria, the highest honor for a graduating student in elementary and high school. His mother excitedly asks him why the “almost”, thinking it was a small discrepancy in the average grades. The kid then tells his mother it’s because he almost GOT CALLED. The valedictorian was his seatmate.
